Stereo Stereo

Accidentally found Stereo Stereo searching on line, looking to upgrade my current system. I made the hour drive to visit the store. Michael and I talked for about an hour, discussing my system and Michael's years of experience in the audio industry. Michael is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and definitely honest!

To breach the threshold of Stereo Stereo by volition is to do so with a certain expectation; one which is likely to be exceeded. To breach by mistake will have you thinking that you should make more mistakes. If you are prompted to nothing more than a five-minute stroll through the store, that stroll will embed memories that will bring you back should you seek to add musical magic to your life. I've had the good fortune of knowing Michael Klein since I purchased B&W Speakers from him years ago in his store in Shadyside. His blunt, direct approach to life and business is exceeded only by his honesty. Michael seeks the truth. Sometimes it benefits his bottom line, sometimes it doesn't — that is of less concern to him than it would be to the typical purveyor of gear of the first rank. I am a luddite when it comes to understanding the technical theory of music, but I have been unable to escape the magic. Irrespective of where you sit on this continuum, don't miss this singular opportunity to up your game.

I have known Michael for many years and Stereo Stereo is a first class highend audio shop. Michael is a pleasure to talk to and super knowledgeable about everything stereo. I purchased a Hi Fi Rose RS130 from him and it is a game changer streamer. I love it!

From the moment I called the day before my visit, the experience was exceptional. Michael was welcoming, knowledgeable, and provided top-notch customer service. I mentioned my interest in auditioning the Wharfedale Super Lintons, and when I arrived at the store the next day, everything was perfectly set up and ready to go. Michael gave me a thoughtful overview of the amplifier being used and handed me an iPad streaming Roon—seamless and stress-free. Listening to the speakers was a fantastic experience, and when I’m ready to pull the trigger on these incredible speakers, there’s no doubt where I’ll be buying them (only a matter of time). Beyond the Wharfedale speakers, Michael also showcased a pair of Wilson Audio speakers. They not only looked incredible but sounded phenomenal—albeit well outside my budget. I truly appreciated the opportunity to experience such high-end audio gear. It’s refreshing to visit a shop that specializes exclusively in stereo and hi-fi listening. This is an excellent destination for anyone who values premium sound and expert guidance! Thanks again Michael and look forward to visiting again soon.

Michael is a wonderful guide for the world of HiFi stereos. His store is immaculate and wonderfully designed with gear that you can hear in person. I recommend setting up an appointment with him and letting him set up the exact system for your needs. He’s got a no-BS attitude and tells you his opinions straight up so you get the best product for your time and money. The personalized and genuine experience you get here is leagues better than anything you could hope to find online.
